Did You Know?
You don't need a
jury consultant to get an up-to-date, representative
sample of potential jurors for a mock trial or focus
group. Just send a legal assistant to the
courthouse to pick up the list of last month's jury
venire. |
|

We're Moving.
But we won't go far. Starting October 17, 2005,
the Dallas office of Susman Godfrey L.L.P. climbs ten
floors to Suite 5100 in the Bank of America Plaza.
The move will accommodate growth over the next
decade. |

workers against Microsoft. The workers
claimed that Microsoft improperly excluded them from its
employee stock purchase
program.

Techniques for Expediting
and Streamlining Commercial Litigation

In
the first two issues, we took an overview of ways to
overcome resistance to efficiency in complex commercial
litigation and explored the authority of judges to
enforce, and the importance of fee arrangements to
achieve, cost-effectiveness in CCL. This month, we
look at expediting and streamlining CCL by avoiding
waste in trial team procedures. Click here for excerpts from the
forthcoming Business and Commercial Litigation in
Federal Courts (2d ed. Robert L. Haig,
editor).
