Barry Barnett’s “Bill the Buffalo” Page

Congratulations on receiving a Bill the Buffalo – a soft, friendly, and stress-reducing bison.  You are some kind of big shot, or you wouldn’t have gotten one.  As you probably know, he entitles you (and you alone) to one-half hour of my otherwise billable time.

You may spend your 30 minutes on any topic.  If you could use a suggestion, I like to talk about a great many things, including history, economics, numismatics, reading, writing, trying to stay in shape, oenology and fermentology (see “trying to stay in shape”), hunting (buffalo excluded), video games, the latest telecommunications gadgets, my BMW convertible, my hometown of Nacogdoches, and long walks on the beach, preferably in a light rain.  I also rather enjoy discussing potential cases with prospective clients like you.

If you want to make our conversation confidential, please tell me that up front.  I will need to run a conflicts check and, in some instances, may have to get my firm’s approval beforehand.  My partners don’t want me to conflict the firm out of a big case for nothing!  Thank you.
