Overview
Alexxa Leon joined Susman Godfrey after clerking for Chief Judge Mary H. Murguia of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Fernando Rodriguez, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Prior to clerking, Alexxa graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, where she served as a Senior Articles Editor of the Houston Law Review.
Before attending law school, Alexxa worked as a third-grade teacher in South Texas. She earned her undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College.
