Brandon Thomas

Brandon represents plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts across the country.  His practice spans a variety of subjects, including antitrust, complex commercial, consumer protection, and tort litigation.

Brandon rejoined Susman Godfrey after clerking for Judge Paul A. Engelmayer on the Southern District of New York.  He previously clerked for Judge Paul J. Watford on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Brandon earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was an editor of the Yale Law Journal, a Coker Fellow in contract law, co-President of the Trial Advocacy Team, and recipient of the Harlan Fiske Stone and John Currier Gallagher Prizes for his winning performances in moot court and trial advocacy competitions.  Brandon graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, after which he worked at a bulge bracket bank in New York.  His academic work has been published in the Harvard Law Review Forum.
