Overview
Danielle Nicholson represents clients nationwide. She has litigated cases across a broad spectrum of practice areas, including breach of contract, antitrust, intellectual property, and tort.
Danielle plays a critical role in her cases and has significant trial experience. She has successfully argued and briefed a range of motions before federal district courts and administrative tribunals, including motions to compel pivotal discovery, motions to dismiss, motions for judgment on the pleadings, motions to exclude evidence and expert opinion, and claim construction motions. She has taken and defended dozens of depositions, including of both fact and expert witnesses, and works closely with experts on case-critical subject matter. She also has held central roles in trials involving complex technology and intellectual property issues and an arbitration involving a high-stakes contract dispute.
For example, Danielle secured a trial win on behalf of power systems manufacturer, Vicor Corporation, before the International Trade Commission. Following months of briefing and a week-long trial, the Commission banned the importation of power modules and computing systems found to infringe Vicor’s patents. Danielle played a significant role on the team, both in briefing important discovery and technical matters throughout the case and in cross-examining three technical experts at trial. Read more.
