Overview
Jacob joined Susman Godfrey after serving as a law clerk to Chief Judge Debra Ann Livingston on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He earned his law degree from Yale Law School, where he was a member of the Supreme Court Advocacy Clinic, served as a lead editor on the Yale Journal on Regulation, and was awarded the William K.S. Wang Prize for Excellence in Corporate Law. He graduated with distinction from the United States Naval Academy and holds a master’s degree from Georgetown University.
Prior to attending law school, Jacob served for eight years as an intelligence officer in the United States Marine Corps. While on active duty, he deployed to various countries in the Middle East and Africa in support of special operations task forces, held company command, and served as a strategic advisor at the Pentagon.
