John joined Susman Godfrey after clerking for Judge Justin R. Walker on the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. He graduated summa cum laude from Duke University School of Law, where he was an R.C. Kelly Mordecai Scholar and an editor of the Duke Law Journal. He received his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
