Michael represents plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining Susman Godfrey in 2021, Michael was an Assistant District Attorney for Harris County, where he first-chaired numerous felony and misdemeanor jury trials to verdict. Michael graduated from Trinity University, with majors in finance and political science and minors in economics and Spanish. Michael received his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was elected Chief Baron of the Order of Barons and was a Senior Articles Editor on the Houston Journal of International Law. While in law school, Michael served as a judicial Intern for Hon. David Hittner and Hon. Lynn Hughes in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
