Michelle represents plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame Law School, Michelle served as Briefing Attorney to the Honorable Kem Thompson Frost at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston. She later served as a Senior Staff Attorney to the Honorable Gregory T. Perkes at the Thirteenth Court of Appeals in Corpus Christi. Prior to joining Susman Godfrey, LLP in 2021, Michelle gained nearly ten years’ experience in private civil litigation practice at the trial and appellate levels. Michelle has briefed numerous cases in the intermediate appellate courts, as well as the Supreme Court of Texas.
Michelle is a past member of the State Bar of Texas’ Committee for the Administration of the Rules of Evidence. In that role, she served on the subcommittee that restyled the Texas Rules of Evidence, and the subcommittee that drafted Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code section 132.001, Unsworn Declaration.
