Overview
Samantha joined Susman Godfrey after clerking for Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Before clerking, Samantha graduated Order of the Coif from UCLA School of Law, where she was a Michael T. Masin Scholar and awarded the Lawrence E. Irell Prize for achieving the highest average grade point average after her first and second years. Samantha was also selected as a 1L Legal Research and Writing Advisor, participated in UCLA’s Supreme Court Clinic, and served as a research assistant in the area of First Amendment law.
Prior to law school, Samantha graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University and worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
