Overview
Thomas joined Susman Godfrey after clerking for Chief Judge Diane S. Sykes on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Thomas graduated first in his class with highest honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as Chief Articles Editor of the Texas Law Review and earned the highest grade in nine classes. During law school, he interned for Judge Lee H. Rosenthal on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Before law school, Thomas taught middle-school reading and writing in Houston, Texas, through Teach for America. He received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Yale University.
