Overview
Walker joined Susman Godfrey after clerking for the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Following his clerkship, Walker served with distinction as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps for four years, where he honed his litigation skills through significant first- and second-chair trial experience. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for his zealous advocacy and exceptional leadership.
Walker earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a member of the Chancellors and Order of the Coif honor societies. During his time at Texas Law, he contributed to the Texas Law Review as an editorial board member. Prior to law school, Walker worked as a financial analyst for a leading energy company in his hometown of Houston. He holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, where he played on the football team and led community service initiatives.
