Erica Harris and Kalpana Srinivasan Named Top Women Litigators by Benchmark Litigation

Houston Partner Erica Harris and Los Angeles Managing Partner Kalpana Srinivasan are included in Benchmark Litigation’s 2020 list of Top 250 Women in Litigation. The list honors female litigators who “participate in some of the most impactful litigation matters in recent history [and] earn hard-won respect of their peers and clients.

Erica Harris tries bet-the-company cases for clients in federal and state courts around the country and in international arbitrations. She is currently representing American multi-national energy corporation, Chevron, in climate change litigation filed in courts across the nation as well as Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA Inc. in high stakes commercial and antitrust litigation. Harris has also served as counsel to industry titans such as KBR, Lyondell-Citgo Refining, Clear Channel Communications, and Ace Insurance.

Kalpana Srinivasan, recently elected Managing Partner of the firm, is also featured in Benchmark’s Top 10 Women in Litigation which recognizes the lawyers who receive, “the most robust and vocal ‘best-in-class’ nominations through Benchmark`s 2020 research cycle.” Srinivasan  routinely secures landmark wins for her clients including a $706.2 million jury verdict for client HouseCanary in a misappropriation of trade secret, fraud and breach of contract case, a significant insurance litigation win for NBC subsidiary, Universal Cable Productions, and a deal worth over $100 million on behalf of music copyright owners in a class action against Spotify.
