Kalpana Srinivasan Named Woman Leader in Tech Law and Jesse-Justin Cuevas Selected as Finalist for Mentor of the Year by The Recorder

Co-Managing Partner Kalpana Srinivasan has been named among California’s Women Leaders in Tech Law as part of The Recorder’s annual California Legal Awards and Jesse-Justin Cuevas has been named one of six finalists for Mentor of the Year.

Srinivasan has been named to the Leaders in Tech Law list previously three times. She regularly serves as lead counsel in cutting-edge tech matters around the country. Kalpana is currently pursuing claims for clients such as the California Institute of Technology and Facebook parent company, Meta, on a range of hot-button legal issues from trade secret and other data theft to patent infringement claims

In addition to her robust litigation practice, Cuevas has taken a leadership role in the firm’s mentoring efforts. She spearheaded and led the effort to redesign and overhaul Susman Godfrey’s mentoring program, which was successfully launched in 2021. Cuevas also serves as a mentor within and outside of the firm to young diverse and female lawyers and students, including Susman Godfrey Prize finalists and winners, Law Clerks for Diversity*, students from her alma mater, Northwestern, and high school students in the Los Angeles area.

Women in Tech Law winners will be honored, and all other category winners will be announced and honored, at the California Legal Awards ceremony on Nov. 3 in San Francisco.
