Recent Landmark Victories
Manne’s most recent wins include securing a defense victory for Vitol Inc. in a multi-billion dollar lawsuit brought by Venezuela’s state-owned oil company and winning a historic victory for a class of indigent arrestees, which he represents pro bono, in a constitutional challenge to Harris County’s money bail system. Srinivasan secured final judgment on a $706.2 million jury verdict for client HouseCanary in a misappropriation of trade secret, fraud, and breach of contract case and scored a significant insurance litigation win for NBC subsidiary, Universal Cable Productions. Carmody won a jury verdict and judgment valued at over $160 million on behalf of repeat client, General Electric, secured a highly favorable settlement as lead counsel to Uber in its epic trade secret misappropriation battle against Google’s Waymo, and most recently secured over $175 million in settlements on behalf of the largest political subdivisions in California and Nevada in a groundbreaking suit against wireless carriers for over-billing the government.
