Rachel Black and Kalpana Srinivasan Named 2020 Elite Women of the Plaintiffs Bar

Rachel Black and Kalpana Srinivasan have been named 2020 Elite Women of the Plaintiffs Bar by the National Law Journal.  Ms. Black is a newcomer to the list while this is the third year in a row Ms. Srinivasan has been named an Elite Woman by NLJ.

Hailing from Susman Godfrey’s Seattle office, Rachel Black focuses her practice on national high-stakes commercial litigation for plaintiffs and defendants. She has faced off against industry titans such as Samsung, Google, Microsoft, and Sirius XM, in each case securing multi-million dollar wins or settlements for her clients. Rachel’s highly skilled strategic advocacy combined with her around-the-clock dedication to her clients have made her a go-to lawyer for bet-the-company cases across the country.

Kalpana Srinivasan

Based in the firm’s LA office, Kalpana Srinivasan recently served as co-lead counsel to HouseCanary when she secured a $706.2 million jury verdict for the real estate analytics company in a breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation and fraud matter. In the same year, she was selected to serve as co-lead counsel in In re: Qualcomm Patent Licensing Antitrust Litigation. Srinivasan regularly secures significant victories for her clients in antitrust, patent, trade secret, copyright, class action, and other disputes.
