Stephen D. Susman Named ‘Titan Of The Plaintiffs Bar’ By Law360

NEW YORK (November 18, 2014) — Law360 has named founding Susman Godfrey partner Stephen D. Susman a “Titan of the Plaintiffs Bar.”

A Law360 profile highlights Susman’s long, successful career, detailing everything from his days teaching at The University of Texas School of Law to setting up a commercial litigation practice at Mandell & Wright PC. The piece also recounts Susman’s establishment of his very own trial boutique, Susman Godfrey LLP, which has since blossomed to over 60 partners across five offices.

According to the article, one thing that distinguishes Susman Godfrey is the high standards it sets for all its attorneys. “Susman & Godfrey won’t hire anyone without federal clerkship experience, but those associates who do make it in the door are rewarded with big assignments unheard of at other firms,” said author Stephanie Russell-Kraft.
