Susman Godfrey Named an Intellectual Property Group of the Year by Law360

Susman Godfrey has been named an Intellectual Property Group Of The Year by Law360 following its banner 2018 which was marked by hundreds of millions in jury verdicts, court awards and settlements for its varied IP clients across the U.S.

Susman Godfrey’s success in a series of complex intellectual property cases in 2018 included a $706.2 million jury verdict for real estate analytics company HouseCanary (resulting in a final judgment of $740 million), defending Uber against Google’s Waymo over trade secret allegations, and securing a $25.25 million jury verdict for the Beats headphones designer, Steven Lamar.

Law360 sat down with SG counsel Max Tribble and Kalpana Srinivasan, to discuss Susman Godfrey’s formula for obtaining results in high-stakes intellectual property matters.  To read that article, including quotes from Tribble and Srinivasan, click here.
