Susman Godfrey client, Ceramifrac Proppants LLC, was awarded $3,421,955, the full amount it was seeking, by a jury in Harris County after a four-day breach of contract trial against Texas-based oilfield services company, Keane Group.
The case was tried by Houston partner Johnny Carter and Houston associate Patrick Redmon. Redmon, a first-year associate, opened the case, presented a witness on direct, and cross-examined Keane’s sole fact witness.
The case is Keane Frac ND, LLC and Keane Group Holdings, LLC v. Ceramifrac Proppants LLC; case no. 2016-44222 in the District Court of Harris County, Texas, 11th Judicial District.
