Amanda Bonn and Marc Seltzer Named Among the Top Antitrust Lawyers in California

The Daily Journal has named partners Amanda Bonn and Marc Seltzer among the top twenty-nine antitrust lawyers in California. Bonn appears on this list for the first time this year while this marks Seltzer’s fifth year in a row being included on Daily Journal’s list of top competition litigation talent.

Amanda Bonn litigates some of the most groundbreaking and newsworthy antitrust cases in California and across the nation. In June 2024, Bonn co-led the trial team in the NFL Sunday Ticket Antitrust Litigation, one of the most followed antitrust cases in the country. Bonn delivered Plaintiffs’ opening statement and cross-examined key witnesses at trial, including a former senior FOX Sports executive who participated in the conspiracy and the NFL’s corporate representative. The team obtained a victory after 3 weeks of trial with the jury finding the NFL engaged in a conspiracy and violated antitrust laws.  The jury awarded $4.7 billion damages, which the trial court vacated on a post-trial motion, while leaving untouched the jury’s determination that the NFL violated two different provisions of the Sherman Act. Proceedings in the matter are ongoing.

Marc Seltzer is responsible for leading the firm’s work in some of the country’s most significant antitrust suits such as In re Auto Parts Antitrust Litigation, in which settlements exceed $1.2 billion to date. He is also serving as co-lead counsel for the plaintiffs in the  In re National Football League’s “Sunday Ticket” Antitrust Litigation and as a senior member of the trial team In re LIBOR Antitrust Litigation. In 2024, Seltzer led the firm’s efforts in securing a groundbreaking $418 million  settlement on behalf of a nationwide class of home sellers with the National Association of Realtors (NAR) that will resolve claims in four antitrust class actions against NAR and which provides for major changes in real estate industry practices which will like lower the cost for millions of Americans to buy and sell a home. Additional settlements reached in these actions brings the total recovered to date to more than $1 billion.
