Lawdragon magazine has named Houston partner Erica Harris a “Legend” – part of an elite group of 33 of, “the nation’s finest lawyers, overflowing with inspiring accomplishments from coast to coast.” Legends are comprised of lawyers who have been recognized with the Lawdragon 500 distinction repeatedly, typically 10 times or more.
Given her successful career representing and securing wins for clients such as Chevron, KBR, Total Energies and Lyondell-Citgo, Harris has been named one of the Top 250 Women in Litigation by Benchmark Litigation for the past four years in a row. She was also previously named one of 20 Winning Women by Texas Lawyer, a list honoring women who “have achieved significant recent victories as well as displayed a track record of wins in which they prevailed in high-stakes cases; won large monetary awards; successfully defended against actions seeking substantial damages; handled first-of-their-kind or bet-the-company cases; or claimed victory in cases that had a national or state-wide impact.” In 2019, Harris was named one of Houston Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business.
