Partner Justin Nelson has been profiled Texas Lawbook as part of their “Asked and Answered” series.
In the profile titled, “Try Your Best, Be Polite and Do Justice,” Nelson shares some of the most memorable moments in his career to date and why he practices law. In the article, Justin talks about the $1.5 billion settlement AI company Anthropic, and where he sees AI regulation headed. He also discusses his work in landmark defamation suit brought by Dominion Voting Systems against Fox News, which resulted in a $787.5 million settlement. In addition, Nelson what he learned from experiences such as clerking for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor to running for Texas attorney general. “I think the potential for law to do justice is probably the most important part in what motivated me and what continues still to motivate me,” Nelson said.
