The National Law Journal has named Susman Godfrey New York Partner, Shawn Rabin, among the “Plaintiff Lawyer Trailblazers” in their second annual compilation of industry leaders. The list recognizes lawyers who make their mark in the various aspects of legal work on the plaintiff’s side. Of the hundreds of nominees submitted, those selected are lawyers who share a common thread of “deep passion and perseverance in pursuit of their respective missions, having received remarkable success along the way.”
In recognizing Rabin, the National Law Journal notes his precedent-setting, noteworthy plaintiff work. This includes his 2018 win for General Electric against the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority that is valued at $160 million and his representation of Uber in Waymo v. Uber where Rabin used his knowledge as a successful Plaintiff’s lawyer to achieve a great result on the defense side of the case.
The full write-up, including Rabin’s thoughts on the future of Plaintiffs litigation and what is needed for plaintiffs to have fair access to the court system, can be found here.
