Overview
Chipper joined Susman Godfrey after clerking for the Honorable Jennifer Walker Elrod, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the Honorable Rodney Gilstrap of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Chipper graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served on the Texas Law Review’s editorial board and was elected to both the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barristers. His team won the school’s Susman Godfrey moot court competition twice—the only team to have done so in the tournament’s 75-year history.
Prior to law school, Chipper studied management, economics, and philosophy at Texas A&M University and taught the LSAT for a prominent test-prep firm.
