Overview
Ravi Bhalla represents businesses and individuals in high-stakes commercial disputes spanning many areas, including antitrust, intellectual property, complex contracts, fiduciary duty, employment, and class actions.
Ravi’s practice involves some of the country’s most significant litigation. He represents Walmart as a plaintiff in two of the nation’s largest antitrust matters, including the sprawling Generic Pharmaceuticals Pricing MDL. He has also secured litigation wins for the California Institute of Technology in its high-profile patent litigation against Samsung; art collector and hotelier Leon Malca in a significant shareholder dispute involving unicorn startup Rappi; and policyholders pursuing nine-figure insurance recoveries. Ravi also routinely takes matters that may not attract headlines but are no less significant for his clients—or for him.
Whatever the size or profile of the matter, Ravi is deeply involved at every stage of the litigation process. He briefs, argues, and wins significant matters before trial and appellate courts (listen to his Eleventh Circuit argument here), takes and defends depositions that shape the course of litigation, and distills his clients’ cases to the core strengths that maximize success through trial, settlement, or appeal.
Beyond his litigation practice, Ravi is committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation. He previously taught as an Adjunct Professor at NYU’s Stern School of Business and coaches Benjamin Cardozo High School’s moot court team for the annual NYC MENTOR Moot Court Competition.
