Head of Susman Godfrey’s New York Office, Bill Carmody, has been selected by Law360 to serve on their 2019 Trials Advisory Board. The purpose of the editorial advisory board is to, “get feedback on Law360’s coverage and gain insight from experts in the field on how best to shape future coverage.”
Carmody is a go-to trial lawyer for bet-the-company high-stakes litigation. In 2018 alone he was trial counsel for Uber in its epic battle against Google/Waymo, tried to verdict a case for General Electric resulting in a judgment valued at over $160 million and obtained hundreds of millions in settlements against the world’s largest financial institutions in the ongoing Libor litigation.
