Daily Journal Names Marc Seltzer a Top Antitrust Lawyer in California for the Second Year in a Row

For the second year in a row, Marc Seltzer has been recognized by the California legal publication, the Daily Journal, as a Top Antitrust Lawyer in California. Seltzer has been recognized several times by the publication for his achievements —including previously being named one of California’s Top 30 Plaintiff Lawyers and being included on  its Top 100 Lawyers list.

Seltzer is responsible for leading the firm’s work in some of the country’s most significant antitrust suits such as In re Auto Parts Antitrust Litigation, in which settlements have exceeded $1.2 billion to date. Seltzer is also serving as co-lead counsel for the plaintiffs in the multidistrict litigation In re National Football League’s “Sunday Ticket” Antitrust Litigation where he  successfully argued an appeal before the Ninth Circuit that resulted in a major decision in favor of his clients.  He is leading the firm’s efforts in  an action brought against several  trucking companies on behalf of a class of commercial truck drivers who allege the trucking companies agreed to refrain from hiring those drivers, and heads up a Susman Godfrey trial team in Moehrl v. National Association of Realtors, a case challenging real estate brokerage commission practices where the firm was  appointed by the Court to serve as co-lead counsel for plaintiffs.

Seltzer is widely recognized in the legal industry for his antitrust work. He sits on the Advisory Board of the American Antitrust Institute and has repeatedly been named  one of the world’s Thought Leaders in Competition by Who’s Who Legal and recognized as a leading litigator in antitrust litigation by Chambers USA.
