Susman Godfrey, along with the Texas Fair Defense Project and Civil Rights Corps, has been honored with the Torch of Liberty award by the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association for their work on the landmark case challenging the unconstitutional bail practices in Harris County, Texas, ODonnell v. Harris County, which so far has freed more than 10,000 people from jail.
Susman Godfrey’s Managing Partner, Neal Manne and Partner, Lexie White, led efforts on this matter and were both honored at an event on May 10th that was attended by several hundred members of the Houston criminal defense Bar.
