Ian Crosby, Davida Brook, and Elisha Barron Recognized on Lawdragon’s List of Top 100 Leading AI & Legal Tech Advisors

Three partners have been included on Lawdragons inaugural list of the country’s Top 100 Leading AI and Legal Tech Advisors – from Seattle, Ian Crosby, Los Angeles, Davida Brook and from New York, Elisha Barron. These three lawyers and the others on this list are called, “stellar players who capture the state of artificial intelligence in the law today, with a side of interesting legal tech.”

To bring this guide to life, Lawdragon “cast a wide net with dozens of leaders in this area, took submissions, consulted with some of the most esteemed gurus in legal tech.” The magazine also researched the cases most likely to have the biggest impact on AI in the coming year.

In late 2023, Crosby, Brook and Barron filed a groundbreaking copyright infringement action against Microsoft and OpenAI alleging that the companies illegally used millions of its articles to train ChatGPT. The landmark complaint marks the first time a newspaper publisher has sued the developers of a large-language model alleging that responses to user queries are unlawfully competing with the newspaper’s content.
