New York Law Journal has named Partner Beatrice Franklin a Rising Star in its 2024 list of the state’s top talent under the age of 40. This year’s competition was competitive, with only 30 attorneys in New York selected after a rigorous selection process judged by an outside panel of experts.
Recognized for her leadership roles in major wins from 2023 and 2024, Beatrice was at the forefront of some of SG’s most notable recent success. This includes the landmark $418 million proposed joint settlement on behalf of a nationwide class of home sellers with the National Association of Realtors (NAR) to resolve claims in multiple antitrust class actions against NAR, and a $36 million judgment for client 255 Butler Associates, ending an eight-year legal battle that tied up a significant commercial Brooklyn building.
The award caps off a banner year for Beatrice, who in the past 12 months has also been named among Lawdragon’s Next Generation of Leading Lawyers and its Top 500 Plaintiff Financial Lawyers. She has also been recognized as a Rising Star of the Plaintiffs Bar by National Law Journal Elite Trial Lawyers and on Benchmark Litigation’s 40 and Under Hot List.
Winners will be recognized at an event in New York City on September 5th.
