Marc Seltzer and Kalpana Srinivasan Named Leading Commercial Litigators by Daily Journal for the Second Year in a Row

For the second year in a row, Partners Marc Seltzer and Kalpana Srinivasan have been named leading litigators on the Daily Journal’s list of the country’s best lawyers for big-ticket and bet-the-company cases. Both known for securing landmark judgments and groundbreaking verdicts and settlements in their respective high-stakes practices, Seltzer and Srinivasan are among a select group of less than 50 lawyers in the nation who are recognized with this distinction.

Marc Seltzer 

Over his more than 50 years of practice, Seltzer has secured billions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for the clients he represents. Seltzer is currently serving as Court-appointed co-lead counsel for plaintiffs in a multidistrict class action litigation alleging DirecTV’s exclusive NFL Sunday Ticket television broadcast package violates federal antitrust laws. He also is one of the lead counsel in the automotive parts antitrust litigation where historic settlements totaling more than $1.2 billion for the classes he represents have been achieved.  He also serves as a senior member of the firm’s trial team where the firm is co-lead counsel for the only one of several proposed classes to receive certification–in a consolidated antitrust proceeding arising out of the LIBOR-rate fixing scandal. Kalpana Srinivasan 

Kalpana is Susman Godfrey’s co-managing partner and tries to cases involving handled cutting-edge patent, trade secret and copyright disputes against some of the country’s most formidable opponents and has secured among the largest verdicts and settlements nationwide. In 2023 Kalpana led Intercontinental Exchange in a $11.7 billion acquisition of Black Knight, Inc., overcoming the FTC’s antitrust challenges.
