Susman Godfrey has been named the National Trial Firm of the Year by Benchmark Litigation. The news was announced at the legal researchers 2022 USA Legal Awards which took place in both New York and California in April. In addition to this honor, the firm was also named Texas Firm of the Year.
Benchmark Litigation recognized Susman Godfrey for a year in which the firm scored major wins across practice areas and industries. This includes securing approval on a landmark deal valued at $600 million for residents of Flint, MI in the Flint Water Crisis Litigation; winning more than $300 million for minority shareholders in Promega Corp. after month-long bench trial; striking deals worth a combined $175 million with the world’s leading wireless carriers in FCA litigation, California et al. ex rel. OntheGo Wireless, LLC v. Cellco Partnership et. al.; and securing an 11th Circ. win for Vitol, Inc. in $10 billion PDVSA US litigation trust case.
