Susman Godfrey attorney Kalpana Srinivasan was profiled by Law.com in their recent article, “Fueled With Steel-Cut Oatmeal, Susman Godfrey’s Kalpana Srinivasan Powers Through Her Day.” The article describes an average day in the life of Srinivasan, who, in the past 12 months alone, has helped secure settlements valued at $73 million for clients in Flo & Eddie v. SiriusXMas well as a deal, subject to court approval, valued at $110 million for clients in Ferrick v. Spotify, and who has been personally selected by the court as interim co-lead counsel in the widely followed action, In Re: Qualcomm Antitrust Litigation.
2017 has been a well-earned year of accolades for Srinivasan. She has been named one of the “Top 100 Lawyers” in all of California by the Daily Journal as well as one of the state’s “Top IP Lawyers” by the same publication. Additionally, Srinivasan and her co-counsel received the “California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year” for their work in the copyright matter Flo & Eddie Inc. v. Sirius XM Radio Inc. Srinivasan was also named a “2017 Power Lawyer” by The Hollywood Reporter for her work on this case. In addition, Srinivasan received the Trailblazer Award by The South Asian Bar Association of Southern California in March 2017. The Recorder has included her on both their “2017 Women Leaders in Tech Law” list and their “2016 Women Leaders in Tech Law” list. She was also named one of the Daily Journal’s “Top Women Lawyers” in 2017 and 2016.
