Overview
Miranda joined Susman Godfrey after clerking for Judge Colm F. Connolly on the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. Before clerking, she attended Duke University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Duke Law Journal. Prior to law school, Miranda graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University.
As a first year associate, Miranda helped secure a significant victory for Transparence, LLC in its patent litigation against Samsung when she briefed and argued against a motion that sought to invalidate every asserted patent claim in a complex infringement matter. The U.S. District Judge Robert W. Schroeder III of the Eastern District of Texas agreed with Miranda, and denied Samsung’s motion in full, allowing the claims to proceed toward trial.
