Partner Alejandra Salinas has been named to Negocios Now’s 2026 Latinos 40 Under 40 Houston class. The award recognizes emerging Latino leaders for their contributions to their professions and communities.
Salinas handles high-stakes litigation nationwide. She helped secure a $1.5 billion settlement for authors and publishers in landmark copyright litigation against Anthropic and a $37.5 million jury verdict for Atlas Global Technologies in a Wi-Fi patent infringement case. The Federal Circuit affirmed the Atlas Global verdict in 2026.
Salinas also serves as an at-large member of the Houston City Council, representing all 2.3 million Houstonians. She is the first openly LGBTQ+ Latina elected to council and the first Latina elected citywide in nearly 30 years. Her pro bono work includes successfully defending Harris County officials in election contests and working with the ACLU to secure a settlement that ended Magnolia ISD’s discriminatory hair policy.
Negocios Now will celebrate this year’s honorees on November 10 at PNC Tower in Houston. View the full list of honorees.
