Susman Godfrey partner, Kalpana Srinivasan, has been named by the Daily Journal as a 2019 Top Trade Secrets Lawyer in California.
Srinivasan is recognized as a top lawyer for her industry-leading trade secrets litigation work, including securing last year’s unanimous $706.2 million jury verdict for real estate analytics firm, HouseCanary, in its misappropriation of trade secret, fraud, and breach of contract case against Title Source in March, which was confirmed by the court later in 2018.
Srinivasan’s past trade secret and IP theft matters include serving as co-lead counsel for Jawbone in various patent infringement and trade secret cases involving wearable fitness tracking devices, serving as lead counsel in a trade secret misappropriation case brought by biotechnology against two former employees, and defending Aurora Innovation and its employees in a breach of contract lawsuit brought by Tesla.
This year, Srinivasan was also named an “Intellectual Property MVP” by Law360, solidifying her position as one of the industry’s leading IP trial lawyers.
