Partner Ravi Bhalla spoke at Perfect Law’s Global Class Actions and Mass Torts Conference, held at NYU School of Law on September 30, 2026. His panel, “The Globalization of Antitrust Litigation: Big Tech, Cartels and Collective Redress,” brought together practitioners from the United States, Canada, and Europe.
Bhalla discussed developments shaping U.S. antitrust litigation, including bipartisan coalitions of state enforcers, trends in federal enforcement, and interest among private plaintiffs in pursuing affirmative antitrust claims outside the traditional class action framework. His own antitrust practice includes representing Walmart as a plaintiff in two of the nation’s largest antitrust matters, including the Generic Pharmaceuticals Pricing multidistrict litigation.
Bhalla also addressed emerging theories of antitrust liability involving algorithmic pricing, highlighting Susman Godfrey’s recent Third Circuit victory. In that case, Susman Godfrey argued the successful appeal, securing reversal of the dismissal of a proposed class action alleging that Atlantic City casino hotels used a shared AI-powered pricing platform to fix room prices.
