DALLAS, HOUSTON, LOS ANGELES, NEW YORK and SEATTLE (Oct. 21, 2014) — Boutique litigation firm Susman Godfrey LLP, and 21 of its attorneys, have been honored by Benchmark Litigation in its 2015 awards. The firm received the highest honor in the Plaintiffs category: Highly Recommended. In addition, the firm received “Highly Recommended” status for its Texas and New York offices. Overall, the firm was ranked in Tier 2 for General Commercial Litigation.
In addition, twenty one attorneys received either “Local Litigation Star” or “Future Star” honors. Firm founder Stephen Susman and New York partners Bill Carmody and Jacob Buchdahl were awarded the highest level of recognition for an individual attorney as Litigation Stars in the United States. Only 100 attorneys in the United States received this award.
The inclusion of two of Susman Godfrey’s New York attorneys on Litigation Stars in the United States list, and the addition of the New York office to the list of “highly recommended” firms, was significant given the relatively small size of the office, which has only been open since 2007.
