Susman Godfrey Litigation Analysts work out of the firm’s New York office. Requirements & Application Process:
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with demonstrated academic excellence and leadership experience, and exceptional writing, research, teamwork, analytical, and communication skills. Anticipated start date is fall of 2026.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary is $90,000.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with and under the supervision of attorneys from the inception of litigation through trial;
- Conduct factual research and analysis, and assist attorneys with legal research on platforms like PACER/ECF, Lexis, and Westlaw;
- Assist in client communications and strategy sessions;
- Prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings;
- Attend, take detailed notes, and ensure real-time organization of testimony and exhibits at depositions, trials, and other proceedings;
- Assist in formatting, cite checking, and preparing for filing pleadings, motions, and other memoranda with courts and arbitration panels, under the supervision of attorneys;
- Anticipate attorney and team needs while problem-solving under pressure;
- Foster strong working relationships with attorneys and legal professionals; and,
- Maintain a spirit of intellectual curiosity and an enthusiasm to learn and contribute to our collegial office culture.
Qualifications/Skills:
- A strong, demonstrated interest in legal research, writing, and complex analysis, with previous relevant internship experience preferred;
- Enthusiastic and energetic attitude with the ability to excel individually and in team settings;
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance short- and long-term projects efficiently and accurately;
- Superior attention to detail and the ability to quickly master large sets of facts while synthesizing underlying issues and implications;
- Experience with PACER/ECF, electronic discovery platforms, and other resources for legal and factual research;
- Full working proficiency with Microsoft 365 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of integrity, discretion, and professionalism with attorneys, legal professionals, and clients;
- Good judgment and the ability to thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment;
- Language skills a plus; and, curiosity for understanding complex legal issues under tight deadlines.
