Susman Godfrey elected six new lawyers to its equity-only partnership and announced market-topping bonuses, reflecting the second-most successful year in the firm’s history.
An AmLaw100 firm, Susman Godfrey announced its first-year associates will receive median bonuses of $120,000 and the most senior associates at the firm will receive median bonuses of $280,000. Once again, SG’s bonuses exceed the New York scale (including the base and special bonuses awarded by those firms). The firm’s bonuses will be paid to all associates. As is tradition, the firm will also pay bonuses to every single one of its 287 employees, from office assistants to paralegals to managers.
“We are grateful to our incredible lawyers and staff that together ensure the success of Susman Godfrey year after year,” said the firm’s managing partners Vineet Bhatia and Kalpana Srinivasan. “We are also thrilled to welcome six new partners to our ranks.”
Susman Godfrey’s new equity partners all came from the associate ranks of Susman Godfrey:
| Alex Aiken (Seattle) | Russell Rennie (NY) |
