Forty-one lawyers from Susman Godfrey have been recognized in Benchmark Litigation’s annual compilation of industry leaders. Calling this year’s list the “most comprehensive and successful yet,” Benchmark had record number of lawyers and firms up for ranking for its 2026 report, which it promises adheres to the highest standards of legal research.
In its analysis of “litigation juggernaut,” Susman Godfrey, Benchmark shares one peer feedback who says, “Susman is the gold standard, still the best.” Another says, “Susman Godfrey is so innovative! They really bring the best of breed in terms of skills, and it’s top-to-bottom.”
Hailing from all four of Susman Godfrey’s offices, this year twenty-six lawyers were named Litigation Stars and fifteen were named Future Stars. New this year are Elizabeth Hadaway and Sy Polky, who both appear on the Future Stars list. In addition, this year Steven Shepard moves from the Future Stars ranking table to the Litigation Stars table.
